Children's Privacy & Safety

Fikrago Kids was designed from the first sketch to be safe for young children. This page explains exactly what that means, so you can verify it rather than trust it.

1. We collect nothing about your child

No names, no ages, no emails, no photos, no voice recordings, no precise location, no school, no birthday. There are no accounts and no sign-up forms anywhere in the games. There is technically nowhere for a child to type personal information.

2. No ads, no trackers, no dark patterns

Game pages contain no advertising scripts, no third-party analytics, no social-media pixels and no "watch a video to continue" loops. There are no timers, no "energy" systems, no countdown pressure and no endless-scroll mechanics — by design, the games have natural, gentle endings.

3. Progress stays on your device

Stars, stickers, learned letters and play-time are saved in the browser's local storage on your own device. This information never travels to a server. A parent can erase it at any time from the Parent Dashboard using the Reset button, or by clearing the browser's site data.

4. Audio stays local too

The friendly voices are generated on your device using your browser's built-in text-to-speech service, plus locally synthesized sound effects. The platform never records a child's microphone — there is no microphone permission request anywhere.

5. Kind interaction design

• Wrong answers get a soft sound and gentle encouragement — never punishment, mockery or loss of progress.
• Children can always replay instructions, pause stories, or leave a game mid-round without penalty.
• Session length is parent-controlled: the platform has no interest in maximizing time on site.

6. Parent tools you control

The Parent Dashboard shows learning progress, skills practiced and approximate time spent, and holds the sound, language and reset controls. It requires no account because it reads only the data already on your device.

7. If we ever change anything

If a future version ever introduces features that would involve children's data (for example, optional cloud sync), we will implement verifiable parental consent first, apply data-minimization and encryption, and update this page before the feature ships. The current version collects nothing, so there is nothing to consent to today.

8. Legal frameworks, in spirit

Fikrago Kids is designed to align with the spirit of children's privacy laws such as COPPA (US) and the GDPR's provisions on children's data (EU), as well as their principles of data minimization and parental control. Because we collect no personal data, there is nothing to disclose about your child to anyone — including us.
